2. MEMBERSHIP

Membership to Betclic Poker is a revocable privilege and can therefore be revoked at anytime for any reason. The funds in a player’s Account will be returned unless there is suspicion of fraudulent activity including, but not limited to, circumstances in which a player has been suspected or found to have cheated another player or players, in which case the fraudulent bets will be invalidated, the relevant player’s funds will be forfeited and all of the player’s financial obligations (such as credit card charges) will remain due and collectable.

3. FRAUD DETECTION AND COLLUSION

  • Players may not act as a team. If team play (collusion) or any other type of cheating or fraud is suspected, Betclic Poker or its affiliates reserve the right to take such action as they may deem appropriate including, without limitation, (i) suspending Accounts suspected of collusion and freezing the relevant funds in the Accounts while an investigation is conducted; and/or (ii) invalidating any bets which are suspected to have been placed using fraudulent methods, or otherwise as part of any collusive activity. Any player found to have been acting, or reasonably suspected of acting, as a team or otherwise colluding with other players, will have his/her Account terminated or suspended indefinitely, and funds within this Account and any associated Accounts will be forfeited and all financial obligations (such as credit card charges) will remain due by you and we may take all steps necessary in order to collect these. • No “board talk” is allowed, i.e. you may not chat about a hand which you have been dealt or are otherwise holding while the hand is in progress. Although some comments may be innocuous, the presumption will be that any comments about the play of a hand are in violation of our House Rules, and the burden of proof will be on you to convince us otherwise. To be safe, avoid making jokes about the hand you are holding or how you intend to play during a hand.
  • You may not use chat to offer advice to another player during a hand, or urge a player to take a particular course of action (e.g. it is a rule violation to use chat to say “Call him, he’s bluffing!”).

  • You may not chat about any current cards another player may be holding during a hand.
  • Only the English language may be written using chat.

  • Betclic Poker does not encourage, facilitate nor approve in any way of any agreement or partnership between players. A player who is involved in such practices is in breach of the General Terms and Conditions of Betclic and exposes himself to various penalties including, but not limited to, the closure of his Account or the disclosure of his activities to the appropriate authorities.
  • Foul, abusive or threatening language will not be tolerated at the gaming tables. Betclic Poker may terminate a player’s Betclic Account for any serious breach or otherwise or for any repeat occurrences.
  • Bonus abuse - Players must play as individuals and in the spirit of enjoying the real money games as fun and exciting entertainment. Players may not abuse promotions or bonus offers by creating multiple player Accounts or acting as part of a syndicate to defraud Betclic Poker or other players. Betclic Poker will terminate the Account of any player suspected to be attempting to abuse any promotions. Decisions regarding abuse will be made solely by Betclic Poker and all decisions are final. Betclic Poker may and will ban players without indicating the reason.

4. TRANSFERS TO AND FROM BETCLIC POKER

Betclic Poker’s real money tables are played in US dollars ($), Euros (€) and Pounds Sterling (GBP). If you are transferring money into or out of the Betclic Poker software in other currencies, there may be currency fractions (less than 0.01 in your local currency) that are owed to the player per transaction due to the exchange rate calculation rounding. The exact amount will depend on the exchange rate. Betclic Poker saves these fractional funds for the player and maintains these funds across poker sessions. Betclic Poker credits the player’s account whenever these funds reach 0.01 in the player’s local currency.

5. SERVER CRASH OR GAME FREEZE

In the event of an interruption to a tournament resulting from a server crash, game freeze or software-related issue, the payout policies detailed below shall apply. We reserve the right to make manual adjustments to any payments in order to ensure that all players have received a fair settlement.

1. Heads-Up Tournaments

Both players shall receive a refund of their buy-in and tournament fee.

2. All SIT & GO Tournaments

Eliminated players will not receive a refund. Remaining players will receive a refund of their buy-in and tournament fee. Each player will receive an equal share of the buy-ins from the eliminated players.

3. Multi Table Tournament ("MTT") Guaranteed Prize

The settlement is dependent upon the stage of the tournament at the time it is interrupted:

If the tournament is still in the re-buy stage then the Prize money stage has not been reached. Once the re-buy period has closed then the prize pool will be the advertised guaranteed prize. If there are insufficient players to trigger the stated guaranteed prizepool, then the prize money stage has not been reached and the prizepool equates to the total buy-in.

- Prize money stage not reached: If the Prize money stage has not been reached the prize pool will be the total of the buy-ins and add-ons (chips bought by the player in excess of those received for his/her original buy-in).

Eliminated players will not receive a refund. Remaining players will receive a refund made up of the buy-in(s) and the tournament fee . The balance of the prize fund will be paid out as follows:

a) 50% of the fund shared equally among the remaining players

b) 50% distributed proportionally in line with the player's chip counts.

- Prize money stage has been reached: Eliminated players will not receive a refund. Remaining players will receive a refund made up of the buy-in(s) and the tournament fee. Each player will be awarded an amount equal to the prize that the next eliminated player would have received if the tournament was not interrupted. Of the remaining prize pool 50% will be distributed equally among the players and 50% will be distributed in proportion with the player's chip counts.

4 MTT No Guaranteed Prize

- Prize money stage not reached

Eliminated players will not receive a refund. Remaining players will receive a refund made up of the buy-in(s) and tournament fee. The balance of the prize fund will be paid out as follows:

a) 50% of the fund shared equally among the remaining players

b) 50% distributed proportionally in line with the player's chip counts.

- Prize money stage reached

Eliminated players will not receive a refund. Remaining players receive a refund made up of the buy-in(s) and tournament fee. Each player will be awarded an amount equal to the prize that the next eliminated player would have received if the tournament was not interrupted. Of the remaining prize pool 50% will be distributed equally among the players and 50% will be distributed in proportion with the player's chip counts.

5 Freerolls

-Prize money stage not reached: Where the prize money stage has not been reached 50% of the fund will be shared equally among the remaining players and 50% distributed proportionally in line with the player's chip counts.

-Prize money stage reached: Where the prize money stage has been reached each player will be awarded an amount equal to the prize that the next eliminated player would have received if the tournament was not interrupted. Of the remaining prize pool 50% will be distributed equally among the players and 50% will be distributed in proportion with the player's chip counts.

In the unlikely event of a software error which subsequently rewards a pot to the wrong player or misreads the winning hand, Betclic Poker has the right to adjust players' Account balances to correct any and all errors. Betclic Poker will use its best endeavours to contact all affected players and present a hand history and detailed explanation of the error within 48 hours.

In the event of an interruption to a cash game resulting from a server crash, game freeze or software-related issue, we shall aim to apply the following guidelines but reserve the right, on a case-by-case basis, to deviate from these guidelines in order to resolve the matter in the fairest manner:

- If the players reach the showdown and there are no more actions available, and the disconnected player has the best hand, then the amount of the total pot he could have won will be refunded.

- If the hand was before the showdown, eg. on the flop or river, we will refund the player's investment. If the hand was before the showdown and the disconnected player had the best hand possible (on the flop or turn) and could not be beaten, we will refund the total pot at that time.

6. GENERAL POKER GAME RULES

We offer the following poker games:

  • No Limit Hold'em
  • Pot Limit Hold'em
  • Fixed Limit Hold'em
  • Pot Limit Omaha
  • Fixed Limit Omaha
  • Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo
  • Fixed Limit Omaha Hi-Lo
  • 7 Card Stud (Fixed Limit)
  • 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo (Fixed Limit)
  • 5 Card Stud (Fixed Limit)

These are all games for two to ten people with a card deck of 52 cards. The bets placed by players accumulate into a pot as the game progresses. The best poker hand wins the pot.

The games are quite similar in their basic concept, but each has its unique strategic differences. We offer these different Poker versions, so each player can choose his or her favourite.

First the rules of Limit Texas Hold’em are given, since the rest are based on it. Explanations of Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo, and 5 Card Stud follow.

7. LIMIT TEXAS HOLD’EM RULES

Up to 10 players are sitting at a table. In front of one of the players is the dealer button. The dealer button moves one position clockwise before each game round. The actual dealing is done by the Poker system.

How the game round goes

Blinds: First, the two players directly to the left of the dealer button must post "blinds", that is to place a bet before getting cards. This is to ensure that every winning hand wins some money. The player to the immediate left of the dealer button posts the "small blind," usually equal to half of the minimum stake (e.g. €2.5 for a €5/€10 game). The player to the left of the small blind posts the "big blind," equal to the amount of the minimum stake (e.g. €5 for a €5/€10 game).

Pocket Cards: After the blinds, first cards are dealt. Every player gets two cards face down. These are called pocket cards.

Bet round 1: Betting begins with the player immediately to the left of the big blind and continuing in a clockwise direction around the table. Every player can fold, check, call or raise. Raising is possible by the lower table stake (€5 in a €5/€10 game) only (the raising is different in Pot Limit and No Limit games as explained later). Betting is explained in more detail below.

The Flop Cards: Now three cards are dealt face up in the middle of the table. These cards are called the flop. These are "community" cards and can be used by all the players to make up their hand.

Bet round 2: Second round of betting follows. This is carried out exactly as the first betting round.

The Turn Card: After the second round of betting, a fourth "community" card is dealt face up in the middle of the table. This is called the "Turn card". It is followed by a third round of betting.

Bet round 3: This round, again, is carried out just like the first and the second, with one exception: raising is possible only by the higher table stake (€10 in a €5/€10 game).

The River Card: Finally, a fifth and final "community" card is dealt. It is called the "River card" and is followed by a fourth and final round of betting.

Bet round 4: This final betting round is carried out exactly as the third.

Showdown: After the final betting round, the best five-card hand is determined for each player. Both the pocket cards and the community cards can be used to make up a hand. The player with the best five-card poker hand wins the pot. In the rare case of the best hand consisting of community cards only, the pot is divided between all players participating in the showdown. If you see that you have lost the hand, and you do not want to show your cards to the other players, you can Muck your cards. Otherwise you can Show to compare your hand with others.

Start again: After a hand is completed and the pot taken by the winner, the dealer button is moved one player to the left, and the next hand begins.

Betting system

The player sitting to the left of the big blind starts the betting round, betting order goes around the table clockwise. Everyone is betting according to what they think their hand will lead to.

Fold: If you don't like your cards, you can fold. If you have posted a blind, made a bet or raised a bet, you will lose that money, but you will not lose any more. After folding, you are out of the game until the next game round.

Check / Call: You can stay in the game by checking or calling. If no bet has been made before you, you can check without placing any money in the pot. If a bet has been made, you can call by placing the same amount in the pot.

Bet / Raise / Re-raise: If you think your hand is good enough, you can make a bet. If another player has already made a bet, you can raise it.

Bet amounts are fixed by the table stakes. For example, in a €5/€10 table, bets are €5 in the first two rounds and €10 in the last two. In limit games there can be one bet and three raises in each round (bet, raise, re-raise, re-raise). After three raises the betting round is capped and the next card is dealt (or, if it is the final betting round, the best hand is determined). In pot limit and no limit the betting is not capped.

All-in: When a player runs out of chips during the course of a hand, he/she does not have to fold. Instead the player can choose to be All-in. When you are all-in, you call all your chips and the pot is divided into the main pot and side pot. All subsequent chips are hereafter added to the side pot.

When the round is over and the "All-in" player does not have a winning hand, both the side pot and the main pot go to the winning hand, as usual.

When the round is over and the "All-in" player has a winning hand, the main pot goes to the "All-in" player, and the side pot goes to the next best hand.

When several players go All-in, multiple side pots are created. The pots are divided according to hand and order in which the players went All-in. The strongest hand wins the pot that was collected until he/she went All-in. The next strongest hand gets the pot that was collected from there to the point when he/she went All-in, etc.

The betting round continues until all players have folded or called the third raise, or until a bet has been called by all players (except the one who placed the bet) with no raise taking place.

8. OMAHA POKER RULES

Omaha poker follows the same rules as Texas Hold'em poker, with two exceptions:

Players are dealt four "pocket" cards instead of two.

Players must use two "pocket" cards and three "community" cards to make their best high hand.

The principle is the same, but the two differences in the rules demand a very different strategy for playing Omaha Poker.

9. OMAHA HI/LO RULES

Omaha Hi/Lo follows the same rules as regular Omaha and there is an additional way to win a share of the pot.

The Hi winner is the player with the best poker hand, as in Omaha and Texas Hold'em. There also can be a Low winner. The Low hand is a hand with 5 different cards below a 9. Both the "pocket" cards and the "community" cards can be used to make up a Low hand. However, it is compulsory to use the two pocket cards.

For example, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 of any suit can be a Low hand. The lowest Low hand is the Low winner. In case of a Low winner, the pot is split 50/50 between the Low and High winner. In case of multiple Low hands, the Low winner is determined by comparing the highest of the low cards, then the second highest, etc. If the two or more Low hands are equal, the Low pot is split between them.

There may not be a Low winner every hand. Also, one player may have two different hands with the same pocket cards for Hi and for Low, along with any three community cards.

10. 7 CARD STUD RULES

This game is played with a maximum of 8 players. The most important difference between this and the other games is that in 7 Card Stud, there are no "community" cards. Each player has his own individual hand, and in fixed limit games, there are two bet limits.

The first two cards (hole cards) are dealt face down, and the other players can't see them. The next cards are called Streets (3 rd, 4 th, 5 th and 6 th Street), and they are dealt face up. The last card, the River, is dealt face down.

At the start of the round, the players must place Antes. The Ante is a fraction of the low bet limit and serves the same purpose as the Blinds in Hold'em games.

After the 3rd Street has been dealt, the player with the lowest face-up card starts the betting. (If two players are showing cards of the same value, the order is determined according to their suits. The suit order is, in descending rank: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs.)

The starting player can either place a complete bet, or place a Bring-In. This is smaller than the complete bet, and again like the Blinds in other varieties, the player only needs to add the difference if the bet is completed and he decides to call. The other players can call, complete the bet, or raise.

Once the bets have been placed, the 4 th Street is dealt. This time the player with the highest card or combination shown starts the betting, and there is no Bring-In. At this stage, any player can bet at the high limit, which will be applied to all subsequent bets.

The same cycle is used for the 5 th and 6 th Streets, and the River, except that the high limit is now applied regardless of whether it was used for the 4 th Street or not. After the River bets are placed, the highest five-card poker hand is formed from each player's cards. The highest ranking hand wins.

11. 7 CARD STUD HI/LO RULES

7 Card Stud Hi/Lo follows the same rules as regular 7 Card Stud, however it offers an additional way to equally split the pot at showdown between two winners: the one with the highest and the one with the lowest hand.

A hand qualifies for low when it contains any combination of different 5 cards with highest possible value of 8 (including an Ace). This is why this version of 7 Card Stud is sometimes called "stud eight or better". There are no straights or flushes for the low hand and the highest low hand is A, 2, 3, 4, 5.

In case of multiple low hands, the low winner is determined by comparing the highest of the low cards, then the second highest, etc. If the two or more low hands are equal, the low pot is split between them.

A hand qualifies for High in accordance with classic 7 Card Stud rules. Therefore, a player could actually win both Hi and Lo hands and collect the entire pot. For example, the highest low hand (A, 2, 3, 4, 5) also counts as a straight (or flush) high hand that could qualify for a winner Hi.

Gameplay rules are as with classic 7 Card Stud. After the 3rd Street has been dealt, the player with the lowest face-up card starts the betting.

Note that there is a small but important difference with the betting at 4th street. With regular 7 Card Stud, a player has the option to decide whether to bet at low or high limit. In 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, there is no double-sized bet if a player makes a pair on Fourth Street – all bets are in the lower increment (e.g. €2 in a €2/€4 game).

Special River case

Note that in the case when 8 players play, there is a special rule at the River. If all 8 players are still in the game the deck will not be enough to deal a 7th card for each (7 cards x 8 players equals 56, whereas there are only 52 cards in the deck). In this case a single community card is dealt face up, which can be used by all players to fill their hand(s).

Showdown

The player with the best five-card hand for the high (Hi) wins half the pot, and the player with the best qualified low (Lo) hand wins the other half of the pot. In the event when no hand qualifies for low, the best hand for high wins the entire pot.
When there is a Lo winner but the pot amount cannot be split in equal halves, the smallest odd chip goes to the winning Hi hand. The rest of the pot is divided 50/50 between the Hi and Lo winner.

All other game rules and cases are the same as with 7 Card Stud.

12. 5 CARD STUD RULES

This is very similar to 7 Card Stud, and played by the same rules (but with up to 10 players). The difference is that only one card is dealt face down to each player; there are 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th streets, plus the River.

13. THE HAND RANKINGS

  • No rake on all pots that are less than 3x the Big Blind
  • No Rake on any hands that end before the Flop ("No Flop - No Drop")

15. CASH GAMES, SIT&GO & ONLINE TOURNAMENTS

With Betclic Poker, you can access three different types of game:

  • Cash games, in which you play as soon as you sit on a table. Players can come and go as they please.
  • Sit & go tournaments which start as soon as the predefined number of players has registered. The action takes place the same way it would if it were a regular tournament.
  • Online tournaments that start at a specific and predetermined time and date.

16. CASH GAME RULES

The following rules apply:

  • Cash games are open at all times; players can join or leave the table whenever they wish to.
  • When selecting a spare seat on a table, the player has to bring in chips from his Account along with him. The number of chips he has to put in play is determined in accordance with the stakes. The minimum is 20 times the big blind and the maximum is 100 times the big blind.
  • If the player does not have any chips left at the table, he can bring in some more from his Account. The minimum and maximum amounts do not change.
  • If a player leaves a table and attempts to come back to the table within the next sixty minutes, he will have to bring in the same amount of chips he had when he left the table.
  • When a player joins a new cash game table he must pay the big blind. It must be paid at the start of each hand by each player one after the other going clockwise. The player can choose to either pay the big blind straight away or to wait for the big blind to come round to him.
  • If the player refuses to pay the big blind, he must sit out the hand and cannot join the hand unless he pays the big blind.
  • The players are not allowed to talk about their cards, their opponents’ cards or the hand in general while the hand is in progress.
  • A player who engages in improper conduct at the table (such as “chip dumping”, which consists of betting excessively high in order to advantage another player) or “stalling” (a strategy which consists in deliberately playing very slowly) may be disqualified from the game and may have his Account terminated.
  • In the event of any conflict, all decisions taken by Betclic Poker are definitive and cannot be appealed against.
  • At its own discretion, Betclic Poker reserves the right to change these rules at any time.

17. SIT & GO RULES

The following rules apply:

  • Sit & Go tournaments start as soon as there are enough players to fill the tournament.
  • Once the tournament has begun, the players cannot change seats.
  • The objective of Sit & Go tournaments is that one player finishes with every single chip.
  • If a player leaves a Sit & Go table before it starts, his buy-in will be reimbursed. There will be no refunds for players leaving the table after the start of the tournament.
  • Unless stated otherwise, all players start with the same amount of chips. Blinds and antes grow at regular intervals.
  • The big blind must be paid before every hand starts by every player one after the other going clockwise.
  • Sit & Go tournaments are played without any breaks.
  • The players are not allowed to talk about their hole cards, their opponents’ cards nor the game in general while the hand is in progress.
  • When it is his turn, a player has 30 seconds to act. If the player has an active internet connection and does not act during the time he is given, then his hand will be folded.
  • If a player loses his internet connection or is disconnected from the server, his blinds and antes will be bet and his hands mucked until he is able to re-establish a connection and join the tournament again.
  • On a Sit&Go table, Betclic Poker applies the “mandatory blinds” rules in order to make sure that every player bets the big blind when his turn is up. It is possible to see a hand where a big blind is bet but where there is no small blind: this happens if the player who is due to bet the small blind has been knocked out on the previous hand.
  • For Limit Sit&Go’s, each betting round is limited to one initial bet plus three raises. This limit is cancelled if there are no more than two players left in the hand. There are limits in terms of bets in No Limit tournaments whereas in Pot Limit tournaments, the only limits concern the size of the pot.
  • In the event of a split pot that cannot be divided equally for every winner, the winner who is sitting closest to the left of the dealer receives the remaining differential in chips.
  • If several players are knocked out at the same point in a tournament, the player who started the hand with the biggest stack of chips will be rewarded with the highest ranking in the tournament. If the players were knocked out at the same time and had the same amount of chips at the start of the hand, then the player who registered first to the tournament will be ranked the highest in the tournament.
  • When there are only two players left in a tournament, the player whose turn it is to bet the big blind bets it, and the other player bets the small blind and also receives the dealer button.
  • A player who engages in improper conduct at the table (such as “chip dumping”, which consists of betting excessively high in order to advantage another player) or “stalling” (a strategy which consists of deliberately playing very slowly) may be disqualified from a tournament and may have his Account terminated.
  • In the event of any conflict, all decisions taken by Betclic Poker are definitive and cannot be appealed against.
  • At its own discretion, Betclic Poker reserves the right to change these rules at any time.

18. ONLINE TOURNAMENT RULES

The following rules apply:

  • Tournaments start at a specific predetermined time and date. However, some tournaments offer a late registration option. Unless otherwise stated, a player may register after a tournament has begun until the set blind level is reached or until full capacity is reached, whichever occurs soonest. For tournaments which don’t offer late registration, a player must register in advance to the tournament. In this case, the player can register as long as the maximum number of players has not been reached, and up to 2 minutes before the start of the tournament.
  • A player who has registered to a tournament can unregister up to 10 minutes before the start of the tournament. Once the un-registration period is over, all tournaments are considered as non refundable. If a player unregisters from a tournament during the permitted un-registration period, the buy-in will automatically be reimbursed by the same method as it was paid. For example, if a player registers to a tournament using Betclic Points, then his buy-in will also be reimbursed in Betclic Points.
  • Shortly before the tournament starts the registered players are randomly placed on as many tables as necessary to accommodate all the participants. The player cannot choose the tables or the seats he will be placed on during the tournament.
  • Unless stated otherwise, every player will start with the exact same number of chips. Blinds and antes grow at regular intervals.
  • Every player is expected to connect to Betclic Poker and to be ready to play 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of a tournament. If a player does not turn up in time for the start of a tournament, his blinds will be bet and his hands will be mucked until he joins the tournament.
  • In the event of a tournament in progress being cancelled because of a technical or operational problem or for any other reason, players who were knocked out of the tournament before the cancellation will not receive a refund of their buy-in. Betclic Poker will distribute the prize pool to some or all of the players at its sole discretion. If the tournament is cancelled before it has begun, all the buy-ins will be reimbursed.
  • At the start of a tournament, one card taken out of thirteen cards of the same suit (clubs for example) is randomly dealt to every player. The player who receives the highest card will be given the dealer button.
  • All tournaments are played so that a single player ends up with all of the chips. However, in relation to tournaments in which a specific number of players receive the same prize, the tournament ends once that number of players is reached.
  • When his turn comes, a player has 30 seconds to act. If a player has an active internet connection but does not act in time then his hand is considered as mucked.
  • If a player loses his internet connection or is disconnected from the server, his blinds and antes are bet and his cards mucked until he is able to reconnect or sit back at the table.
  • On a tournament table, Betclic Poker applies the “mandatory blinds” rules in order to make sure that every player bets the big blind in turn. It is possible to see a hand where a big blind is bet but where there is no small blind: this happens if the player who is due to bet the small blind has been knocked out on the previous hand.
  • For Limit tournaments each betting round is limited to one initial bet plus three raises.
  • In tournaments where re-buys are authorised, a player can buy another stack of chips subject to some supplementary fees. In most cases, this fee is equal to the initial fee amount. However a player will only receive a stack of chips equal to the original stack of chips. However, depending on the tournaments, the following elements may vary: the situations in which the player can re-buy, the number of chips allocated, the re-buy fee and the currencies permitted. In any event, a player can only re-buy when his chip count is either equal or inferior to his starting chip count.
  • “Add-ons” are usually available in tournaments where re-buys are allowed. An Add-on allows a player, subject to supplementary fees, to receive another stack of chips. Add-ons are always authorised, whatever number of chips the player has, as opposed to the re-buy, which is authorised only if the player has less chips than what he or she started with.
  • If several players are knocked out at the same point in a tournament, the player who started the hand with the biggest stack of chips will be rewarded with the highest ranking in the tournament. If all of the remaining players were knocked out at the same time and had the same amount of chips at the start of the hand, then the player who registered first to the tournament will be ranked the highest in the tournament.
  • As players get knocked out of the tournament, the remaining players are progressively regrouped onto a smaller number of tables. When the players are transferred from one table to another, Betclic Poker does everything in its power to prevent people missing their turn of blinds or paying them once too many times.
  • Betclic Poker tries to keep an equal number of players on each table. In the event of a table with only 6 players or less, play will be interrupted on that table until the number of players on each table is correctly balanced.
  • If a player wins a share of the prize pool when he or she is knocked out, the player’s Account will be credited once he or she has left the table. For re-buy tournaments, prizes are not awarded before the end of the re-buy period.
  • At any time during the tournament the software can start hand-per-hand play. This type of dealing takes place when the software waits for all tables to finish their current hand before dealing the next one. The objective of hand-per-hand play is to discourage people from taking too much time to play in the hope of someone getting knocked out of the tournament on another table. This is also known as “stalling”.
  • When there are only two players left in a tournament, the player whose turn it is to bet the big blind bets it, and the other player bets the small blind and also receives the dealer button.
  • In the event that Betclic considers that one or more extraordinary event(s) have harmed the unfolding of the event, Betclic reserves the right to cancel all relevant bets relating to the result of the event(s).

19. TYPES OF BONUS

Incremental Bonus: This is the standard type of bonus at Betclic Poker. This means that the Bonus Dollars are converted to real money in incremental amounts and credited to your real money balance as you earn it. Through qualifying play at a real money table or tournaments, you will earn Betclic Points. You earn Betclic Points at the rate of 10BCP for every €1 in rake and each incremental bonus will release a specific cash sum when you meet a certain points target. These release rates will vary according to the bonus/offer; please therefore refer to the terms and conditions of the specific bonus/offer.;

Staged Incremental Bonus: A staged incremental bonus is an incremental bonus which is automatically released in increments once a certain number of Betclic Points has been earned. This bonus will only be released to your Account once this pre-determined Betclic Points requirement has been reached. At the end of the bonus period, the remaining incremental amount that does not clear the pre-determined requirements will be lost.

Immediate Bonus: An Immediate Bonus is automatically released to your Account when it is added, provided your Account meets the general requirements defined below. There are no additional requirements which you will need to meet in order to receive this bonus.

Lump Sum Bonus: A Lump Sum Bonus is awarded in its entirety once the earning requirements have been met. For example, a bonus may have a requirement of 200 Betclic Points. Once this bonus becomes Active, you have to earn all 200 Betclic Points before the bonus expires in order to have it credited to your Account. You will not be credited with a portion of the bonus for each Betclic Point you earn.

  • Limitation – The granting of bonuses (whether one-time, sign-up, special promotion, loyalty or any other type) are limited to one per combination of: a person, family, household, geographic address, postal address, email address, payment method account/card and shared computer environment (such as a library or workplace). This limitation applies across all affiliations, subsidiaries and partnerships of Betclic Poker. If an affiliated gaming site is running the same promotion, an individual person cannot receive the same promotion from both sites.
  • Use - Bonus amounts in your Bonus Account may not be cashed out or used for wagers; however they may be earned and credited to you through qualified real money play. Any bonus that is earned may be used in further real money play or cashed out at any time. Bonuses may not be exchanged, traded or transferred to other player Accounts.

Due to current gaming regulations, players from some locations will be automatically prevented from participating. However, it is the responsibility of each player to abide by the laws and regulations of his or her local jurisdiction. If you do not receive an expected bonus, it may be because of jurisdictional restrictions.
  • Valid Player Account - You must have a valid Betclic Poker player Account in good standing to receive any bonus. • You affirm that the name, email address, postal address, and phone number associated with your Betclic Poker Account are accurate, and agree that the person whose name appears on that Account will be the actual person who plays in the Event. Any discrepancy in this may result in disqualification or forfeiture of Event prize packages.
  • In case of any disputes regarding any terms or conditions of any Betclic Poker Promotions, the decision of Betclic Poker is final.
  • This Agreement will be executed in person prior to the start of the Event and all players will be required to show a valid picture ID or passport.
  • All satellites will award seats only when the total prize pool reaches at least one (1) buy-in for the subsequent tournament. If this minimum is not met, all prizes will be paid out in cash. If the total prize pool exceeds the one (1) buy-in for the subsequent tournament, the remaining cash will be distributed to the top finishers of that satellite.
